Hylton Casting is casting background talent for an exterior high-end club scene on the BET+ series Diarra From Detroit Season 2. The scene takes place outside an exclusive nightclub filled with trendy, upscale individuals arriving for a night out.
 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • Show Title: Diarra from Detroit – Season 2
  • Network: BET+
  • Synopsis: A divorcing, overworked teacher finds herself drawn into a cold case after a dating app matches her with a man she suspects is the adult version of a boy abducted in the 90s.

BACKGROUND ROLES AND RATES

All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
All roles will be photo selected by the Director of the series.

  • Upscale Club Patrons (10): Trendy, fashion-forward, upscale nightlife appearance
    • Background Rate: $13.63/hr ($109 for 8 hours guaranteed. Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half)
  • Club Patrons with High-End Cars (10): Trendy, fashion-forward, upscale nightlife appearance. Must have a clean, modern, luxury or standout vehicle.
    • Background Rate: $13.63/hr ($109 for 8 hours guaranteed. Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half)
    • Car Bump: $80 high-end car bump
  • Background Actor with Large SUV (1): Must have a large SUV similar to a Chevy Tahoe or Ford Expedition. Preferably black. No white or red vehicles.
    • Background Rate: $10.50/hr ($84 for 8 hours guaranteed. Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half)
    • Car Bump: $80 high-end car bump

Note: All roles are for background/atmosphere purposes only. Talent must be local to Atlanta or able to work as a local hire.

FILMING DATE

  • Wednesday, 7/30/25
  • Please note, this date is subject to change.
  • Must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set.
  • Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Please do not submit if you do not have open availability for the filming date listed above.
  • This date could potentially have an afternoon or evening call time. Please be prepared to film through the night into early the next morning.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • To be considered, you must upload the following with your submission:
    • A clear, recent selfie taken within the last 7 days, dressed in cool, upscale club attire
    • A recent, clear headshot (no filters, hats, or sunglasses)
    • A full body photo (straight-on, full view)
    • Optional: A short video slate (instructions provided on the submission form)
    Photos must:
    • Be taken in good natural lighting
    • Reflect your current hair color, length, and style
    • Be unedited and unfiltered
  • Optional: In your video, please:
    • Clearly say your first and last name
    • State your height and weight
    • Share the city and state where you currently reside
    • Show your full body from head to toe
    • Dress in clothing that represents your personal style

BOOKING POLICY

  • Please note, Hylton Casting, LLC and the production Breakdown Productions, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any aspect of your booking (in whole or in part) at any time for any reason (including, without limitation, in connection with last minute production changes), regardless of whether you or the production has confirmed the applicable booking. If your booking is cancelled (either in whole or in part), you understand and agree that you are not entitled to any consideration in connection with such cancellation (including, without limitation, compensation, fees, reimbursement, expenses and/or other consideration).  Please make sure to check your email prior to arrival to the production location for any updates.   • For all extras that are booked, we would like to inform you that it is our policy to overbook extras to compensate for last minute cancellations affected by weather, traffic, and other unforeseen circumstances. The formula we use to derive at our booking levels, is carefully applied and as conservative as possible while still fulfilling our responsibility of ensuring the required number of extras for the producers. Therefore, a confirmation email does NOT guarantee placement.  Once production is at full count, additional extras will not be signed in and therefore, will not be compensated. Extras that are signed in by production are not employed by Hylton Casting and will be compensated by the production company.
  • Hylton Casting and the production are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Your work and ANYTHING regarding this production is CONFIDENTIAL and cannot be shared via social media or otherwise. Individuals can and will be asked to leave set for taking pictures or putting information on social media. Phones may be used in holding for personal purposes only. Pictures cannot be taken at ANY time. If a photo is taken in holding or on set this is also grounds for immediate removal. You cannot talk to the press, blog, Facebook, tweet, or Instagram etc. about your experience or take any photos on set.
