CASTING STAND-INS

Thank you for your interest in working as a stand-in. A stand-in for film and television is a person who substitutes for the actor before filming, for technical purposes such as lighting and camera setup. Stand-ins are helpful in the initial processes of film and television production. We are seeking stand-ins with experience. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Grosse Pointe Garden Society – Pilot for NBC

STAND-IN ROLES

We will be casting a core group of stand-ins to work throughout the run of the production. You may not be needed all filming dates, but should have a flexible schedule.

  • All genders, all ethnicities, all heights, all ages
  • If you are selected to work as a core stand-in on this series, there is a potential interview / camera test work date of Wednesday, 4/24/24 in Atlanta, GA.
  • We will also be casting day player stand-ins to work individual dates throughout the course of the series.

FILMING DATES

You must have an open and flexible schedule for the duration of filming Saturday, 4/27/24 – Tuesday, 5/14/24.

  • You must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set each date that you are booked.
  • Call time will not be provided until the day before each filming date. Please do not submit if you do not have open availability for the filming date range listed above.

FILMING LOCATION

Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas

RATE IF HIRED

  • Stand-In performer services: $175/8 hrs
  • Please note, this is a flat rate of $175 total for working up to 8 hours. You will receive overtime after 8 hours.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • On the submission form below, please make sure to submit recent, clear, color photos.
  • The photos that you submit should reflect your current look – hair color, cut, etc.
  • Please take these photos standing against a solid wall with good lighting. You may use a camera phone.
  • Please submit a head shot, full length body shot, and two side profile pictures from both the left and right side.
  • Do not submit photos with filters, black and white photos, photos where you are wearing hats or sunglasses, and photos that do not reflect your current look, hair style, etc.
  • Please also upload a video slate of yourself below to be considered for this role. In this video, you should say your first and last name, height and weight, and show your entire body head to toe.

If booked to work as a Stand-In, all the materials and information about this production are CONFIDENTIAL. Your work and ANYTHING regarding this production is CONFIDENTIAL and cannot be shared via social media or otherwise. Stand-Ins/Photo Doubles can and will be asked to leave set for taking pictures or putting information on social media. Phones may be used in holding for personal purposes only. Pictures cannot be taken at ANY time. If a photo is taken in holding or on set this is also grounds for immediate removal. You cannot talk to the press, blog, Facebook, tweet, or Instagram etc. about your experience or take any photos on set.
