Hylton Casting is currently casting featured background actors for an upcoming music video for a major recording artist, directed by Brett Arndt of Mainstay Films.

We are seeking background actors to work in elegant wedding reception scenes, a classic old-school Italian restaurant, and a neighborhood grocery store. Many of these roles will be highly visible on camera and will help create the authentic world of a powerful Italian-American family and community.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BACKGROUND ROLES

WEDDING GUESTS

  • WORK DATE: Sunday, 6/7/26
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Seeking sophisticated, upscale individuals to portray guests attending an elegant wedding reception within a powerful and well-respected Italian-American family.
  • Think classic Godfather-style wedding reception atmosphere — stylish, traditional, family-oriented, and affluent.
  • Wardrobe Requirements:
    • Men must own a suit or formal wedding attire.
    • Women must own elegant wedding guest attire such as cocktail dresses, silk, satin, chiffon, or other upscale formalwear.
    • Looking for polished, timeless looks with an old-money aesthetic.

BG TO PORTRAY BAND

  • WORK DATES: Sunday, 6/7/26 OR Monday, 6/8/26
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Seeking featured background actors to portray members of a live band performing at a wedding reception or upscale Italian restaurant.
  • Especially seeking individuals comfortable portraying:
    • Drummer
    • Keyboard Player
    • Violinist
    • Cellist
  • Musical experience is a plus but not required. We also welcome experienced background actors who are comfortable pantomiming musicians on camera.
  • All instruments will be provided by the Props Department.

ISABELLA’S MOTHER

  • WORK DATE: Sunday, 6/7/26 AND Tuesday, 6/9/26
  • Caucasian Female, ages 40s – 60s
  • Seeking an elegant, sophisticated woman to portray the mother of one of the lead actresses featured in the music video.
  • This is a highly featured, photo-selected role portraying a respected matriarch within a wealthy Italian-American family.
  • Scenes include family home interiors and wedding-related scenes.
    IMPORTANT:
    • Must be available for BOTH filming dates.
    • Please submit recent photos.
    • Wardrobe in submission photos should reflect an upscale, refined, elegant aesthetic whenever possible.

UPSCALE RESTAURANT PATRONS

  • WORK DATE: Monday, 6/8/26
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Seeking individuals to portray patrons dining in a classic old-school Italian restaurant.
  • Looking for sophisticated, mature faces who can authentically portray successful businesspeople, couples, family members, community leaders, and longtime restaurant regulars.

RESTAURANT STAFF

  • WORK DATE: Monday, 6/8/26
  • Caucasian, Italian, Mediterranean, or Eastern European, all genders, ages 18+
  • Seeking 2 featured background actors to portray restaurant staff in an upscale old-school Italian restaurant.
  • Must own:
    • White button-down dress shirt
    • Black pants
    • Black dress shoes

GROCERY STORE PATRONS AND STAFF

  • WORK DATE: Monday, 6/8/26
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Seeking individuals to portray shoppers and cashiers in a neighborhood grocery store.
  • Looking for authentic, everyday people who can naturally portray customers, employees, and members of the local community.

FILMING DATES

  • Sunday, 6/7/26
  • Monday, 6/8/26
  • Tuesday, 6/9/26
  • You do not need to be available for all filming dates.
  • Must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set each date.
  • Monday, 6/8/26 and Tuesday, 6/9/26 are expected to have an afternoon call time. Please be prepared to film through the night into early the next morning for these dates.

FILMING LOCATION

  • Atlanta, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $100/8 hrs (Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half.)
  • Car Bump: $25 Car Bump is you are booked to work with your car.
