Hylton Casting is currently casting featured background actors for a music video for a major recording artist, directed by Brett Arndt of Mainstay Films.
 
This cinematic project will feature a classic old-world Italian-American aesthetic inspired by family, loyalty, tradition, celebration, power, and influence. The visual storytelling draws inspiration from iconic late 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s family crime dramas. Scenes will include elegant wedding receptions, funeral gatherings, upscale restaurants, family events, business settings, and the inner circles of powerful and influential families.
 
We are seeking background actors to portray a variety of roles including wedding guests, family members, wives, girlfriends, bridesmaids, groomsmen, funeral mourners, chauffeurs, business associates, community figures, mob bosses, advisors, henchmen, security personnel, and other featured roles throughout the project.
 
We welcome submissions from individuals of all backgrounds who fit the desired look and can convincingly portray these character types and this world on screen.
 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BACKGROUND ROLES

FAMILY MEMBERS

  • Caucasian, Eastern European, Mediterranean, or Hispanic
  • All genders, ages 18+
  • Seeking individuals to portray members of a large Italian-American family in both funeral and wedding reception scenes. These characters are part of a close-knit, influential family and their extended relatives.
  • Casting background performers for who can portray family members gathering during important life events. You may be portraying siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, wives, girlfriends, family friends, and other relatives.
  • This role will work in funeral scenes and wedding reception scenes. Think traditional, sophisticated, family-oriented individuals from a powerful and well-respected family.
  • Late 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s Italian-American family drama aesthetic.

MOB ASSOCIATES

  • Caucasian, Eastern European, Mediterranean, or Hispanic
  • Men, Ages 20+
  • Seeking individuals to portray influential mob bosses, trusted advisors, loyal henchmen, and personal security guards within a powerful Italian-American family organization.
  • These roles will be featured throughout funeral, business, and family gathering scenes. Looking for individuals who can portray authority, confidence, power, loyalty, and presence on camera. Think old-school organized crime figures, respected family leaders, trusted associates, and longtime members of an influential inner circle.
  • The overall aesthetic is inspired by classic late 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s Italian-American crime dramas and family sagas. Sophisticated, traditional, and distinguished looks are encouraged.
  • Must own dark suit wardrobe options. 3-piece suits are preferred. Pocket watches, pinky rings, and traditional wider dress shirt collars are highly encouraged. No modern slim-fit business looks.

FEATURED WOMEN

  • Caucasian, Eastern European, Mediterranean, or Hispanic
  • Women, Ages 18+
  • Seeking women to portray featured roles within a powerful Italian-American family and social circle. Roles may include bridesmaids, girlfriends, daughters, family members, wedding guests, socialites, bar cart attendants, and other featured women throughout the project.
  • These roles will work in wedding reception, family gathering, restaurant, and social event scenes.
  • Ideally, we are seeking women who can authentically portray members of an Italian-American family and community. Looking for individuals who fit the look of women attending an upscale wedding reception, family celebration, or exclusive social gathering.
  • Additional featured role will include:
  • Isabella’s Mother – A respected Italian-American mother figure who appears in multiple scenes throughout the project, including family gatherings and wedding-related scenes. One home scene will depict Isabella’s Mother wearing a marabou robe as part of the character’s wardrobe.

CHAUFFEURS

  • All Ethnicities
  • Men, Ages 18+
  • Seeking men to portray professional chauffeurs working for a powerful and influential family. In these scenes, chauffeurs will be seen standing outside luxury SUVs during funeral and family gathering scenes.
  • IMPORTANT:
    • Must own a black suit
    • Must own black dress shoes
    • Must be comfortable driving an SUV if needed
    • Valid driver’s license required

PRIEST

  • Caucasian, Eastern European, Mediterranean, or Hispanic
  • Men, Ages 30s–60s
  • Seeking men to portray a Catholic priest officiating funeral and family-related scenes.
  • Production will provide the priest robe/cassock; however, applicants should ideally have a jacket size of 40–42 or smaller to fit the wardrobe available.
  • Must own a black suit.

FBI AGENTS

  • All ethnicities
  • Men, ages 20s – 60s
  • Must be clean shaven

FILMING DATES

  • Saturday, 6/6/26
  • Sunday, 6/7/26
  • Monday, 6/8/26
  • You do not need to be available for all filming dates.
  • Must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set each date.
  • Filming on Monday, 6/8/26 is expected to have an afternoon call time. Please be prepared to film through the night into early the next morning for this date.

FILMING LOCATION

  • Atlanta, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $100/8 hrs (Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half.)
  • Car Bump: $25 Car Bump if you are booked to work with your car.
