Hylton Casting is currently casting background actors to portray summer campers, camp parents, counselors, and CITs for exterior camp scenes filming for the Netflix television series Talbot Pines in Rutledge, GA.
 
These scenes are scripted as “the hottest day of the year” at camp and will be filmed primarily outdoors. Background actors should be comfortable working in the summer heat, participating in active camp scenes, and potentially getting wet during activities such as Slip & Slides, Super Soaker water games, and water balloon tosses. Please review the role breakdown carefully, as some roles require swimsuits or involve water activities.

BACKGROUND ROLES

CORE CAMPER PARENTS

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 30s – 60s
  • Will portray parents visiting their children during camp activities and family camp events. Parents should be comfortable participating in outdoor scenes, including camp games and activities.
  • Some roles may involve or be in close proximity to Slip & Slides, Super Soaker water games, and water balloon tosses, and may require the possibility of getting wet.
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in the summer heat and portraying a fun, supportive camp atmosphere.

CORE CAMPERS

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18-29
  • Youthful appearance, as you will portray high school-aged summer campers. Men must be clean shaven.
  • Must be energetic, active, and comfortable participating in a variety of outdoor camp activities, including Slip & Slides, Super Soaker water games, water balloon tosses, sports, canoeing, archery, capture the flag, and other traditional summer camp activities. Some roles require swimsuits or involve getting wet during filming.
  • Previous summer camp experience or familiarity with camp activities is a plus but not required. A fun, lively energy is essential to authentically portray the excitement of summer camp while working outdoors in the summer heat.

  • Please submit for every date you are available to work. You do not need to be available for all filming dates to be considered.
  • Please note: While you may submit for multiple dates, you may not be booked for every date you are available. Booking decisions will be based on the production’s daily background needs and continuity requirements.
  • All background actors must be available for up to a 12-hour filming day (or longer if needed) on any date they are booked.

FILMING LOCATION

  • Rutledge, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate – $140/12 hrs (Overtime paid after 12 hours at time and a half.)
