Hylton Casting is now casting special ability background actors to portray a lively street band for the Netflix television series Talbot Pines.
 
We are seeking college-age and adult musicians with great energy and personality who can portray members of a fun, authentic marching/street-style band. Production is especially interested in performers who play and own their own trumpet, trombone, tuba, snare drum, and cymbals.
 
We are open to casting both individuals and established groups that already perform together. Marching band or street band experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

BAND MEMBERS

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • INSTRUMENTS CURRENTLY SEEKING:
    • Trumpet
    • Trombone
    • Tuba
    • Snare Drum
    • Cymbal Player
    • Percussionist who can play both snare drum and cymbals
  • Please note:
    • Talent will be pantomiming playing their instrument on camera over a pre-recorded music track.
    • Must bring your own instrument for use as a prop in these scenes.
    • Established groups/bands are encouraged to submit together.
    • Strong performance energy and rhythm are important for this role.

FILMING DATE

  • Tuesday, 6/9/26
  • Please note:
    • Must be available for a 12+ hour filming day if booked
    • This date will potentially have an afternoon or evening call time. Please be prepared to film through the night into early the next morning.
    • Final call times are typically sent the evening before filming

FILMING LOCATION

  • Rutledge, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • $250/12 hrs guaranteed
  • This role pays a guaranteed flat rate of $250 for up to 12 hours worked.
  • Please note this is NOT paid at an hourly rate.
  • Overtime will only apply after 12 hours.
  • Prop Bump: Will also receive an additional $75 for bringing your own instrument.

  • Please record a short video (up to 60 seconds) that includes the following:
    • Your full name

    • Brief description of your musical and/or marching band experience
    • Show your instrument on camera
    • Pantomime or mimic playing your instrument for several seconds with strong performance energy
    • For percussionists/drummers: Please demonstrate basic stick movement, timing, rhythm, or cymbal performance movements in your video.

  • All submissions will be reviewed and photo selected by the Director and Executive Producers.
  • Selected talent will be contacted directly by Hylton Casting regarding availability and booking details.
