Hylton Casting is casting the featured background role of SISTER (Caucasian Female, ages 9–14) for the Netflix television series Talbot Pines. This featured role will portray the sister of one of the series’ principal characters. Filming will take place in Rutledge, GA.
 
We are seeking confident, expressive kids with big personalities who can take direction well and deliver authentic, natural reactions on camera. This featured background role requires strong non-verbal acting, emotional expression, and the ability to stay engaged in the moment during scenes with the principal cast.
 
Kids with previous acting, theater, commercial, improv, or on-set experience are strongly encouraged to submit. This is an excellent opportunity for young performers to gain valuable on-set experience while working in a featured role alongside the principal cast.

SISTER

  • Caucasian Female, ages 9-14
  • This featured background role will portray the younger sister of one of the series’ principal cast members. She is seen visiting her brother at summer camp in exterior camp scenes and will work in close proximity to the principal cast.
  • This is a featured, non-speaking background role that will be photo selected by the Director and Executive Producers.

FILMING DATE

Monday, 7/20/26

  • You must be available for up to a 10 hour filming day on set.

FILMING LOCATION

  • Rutledge, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Minor Background Rate: $140/10 hrs

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

To be considered, please submit unedited photos taken today and a short video slate recorded today. Please note that all roles will be photo selected by the Director and Executive Producers. Because of this, it is very important that parents and guardians take their time with submissions and provide the proper photos and self-tape slate requested below.

WARDROBE FOR PHOTOS & VIDEO SLATE:
• Kids should wear natural summer attire in their submission photos and video slate. Please avoid heavy logos, bright neon colors, costumes, or overly dressy clothing. Summer camp-style clothing is preferred.

PHOTO GUIDELINES:
• All photos must be taken today (or at the time of submission).
• Use a camera phone in good natural lighting against a solid wall (white or neutral background preferred).
• Photos should look professional, clear, and well-framed.
• No filters, hats, sunglasses, or heavy makeup.
• Child should be photographed alone in the images

PHOTOS REQUIRED:

  • Recent Selfie Headshot (clearly showing your face)
  • Recent Full-Body Selfie (facing camera, head to toe)

VIDEO SLATE REQUIRED:

  • In the video slate, please have the child clearly state:
    • Full name
    • Age
    • Height
    • City and state of residence

MINOR BACKGROUND ACTORS - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION​

  • Please complete the submission form below with your minor’s information. A separate submission form must be completed for each working minor.
  • All minors must be registered with the GA Dept. of Labor and have a valid Certification Certificate Number before submitting.

  • Registration may take several days. Minors without certification cannot be booked.
  • One parent/legal guardian must accompany the minor on set at all times (no switching during the day).
  • Guardians may not appear on camera and no additional guests are allowed on set.

SELECTION PROCESS

  • Once you submit your photos and video audition, they will be sent directly to the Director for final selections.
  • If chosen, Hylton Casting will contact you to confirm your availability.
