CASTING STAND-INS FOR LENS TEST 9/4/25

Thank you for your interest in working as a stand-in! Stand-ins are a vital part of film and television production. They substitute for principal actors during pre-filming setups for technical purposes such as lighting, camera blocking, and focus. Their work ensures the production runs efficiently and smoothly.
 
We are currently seeking experienced stand-ins only. Please do not submit if you have not previously worked as a stand-in on a film or television production.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • Feature film for major studio
  • Stand-Ins will work during a Lens Test for general color / lighting purposes

STAND-IN #1

  • Black / African American Male
  • Ages 20s-50s
  • Height: 6’0 – 6’2

STAND-IN #2

  • Caucasian Female
  • Ages 20s-50s
  • Height: 5’3 – 5’9

FILMING DATE

Thursday, 9/4/25 

  • Preliminary Call Time: 10:00 AM – Please note, this time is subject to change.
  • Stand-Ins should be prepared for approximately a 10-12 hour day.

RATE (IF HIRED)

Stand–In Rate: $175 for 8 hours guaranteed. Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Recent, clear photos (taken within the last 7 days):
    • Headshot (color, no filters)
    • Selfie
    • Full body (straight on)
    • Photos must be unfiltered, unedited, and show your current look (hair color, length, style). No hats or sunglasses.
  • Short video slate:
    • State name, height, weight, city & state
    • Show full body head-to-toe
    • Wear clean, casual/professional attire

If booked to work as a Stand-In, all the materials and information about this production are CONFIDENTIAL. Your work and ANYTHING regarding this production is CONFIDENTIAL and cannot be shared via social media or otherwise. Stand-Ins/Photo Doubles can and will be asked to leave set for taking pictures or putting information on social media. Phones may be used in holding for personal purposes only. Pictures cannot be taken at ANY time. If a photo is taken in holding or on set this is also grounds for immediate removal. You cannot talk to the press, blog, Facebook, tweet, or Instagram etc. about your experience or take any photos on set.
