  • Hylton Casting is now casting a variety of background roles across several scenes for ALLIGATOR, a new scripted crime television series for a major streaming service.
  • Inspired by a true story and set across the 1990s and early 2000s, the series explores a gripping story of secrets, relationships, and crime.
  • We are currently casting College Students, Alumni, Professors, Law Firm Staff, Diner Patrons and Staff, State Capitol Staff, Security, Tourists, and more.
  • Multiple background roles are available for filming on Monday, 9/28 and Tuesday, 9/29 in the Atlanta area. Review the roles below and submit your availability for any role and date that fits you.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $96/8 hrs (Flat Rate)
    • $96 is guaranteed for up to 8 hours of work. Overtime is paid after 8 hours at time-and-a-half.
  • Period Car Bump: $100 Period Car Bump if you are booked to work in these scenes with a selected period car from 1990s – early 2000s.

BACKGROUND ROLES

COLLEGE STUDENTS, ALUMNI, ADMIN, AND PROFESSORS

  • Work Date: Monday, 9/28/26
  • Filming Location: Morrow, GA
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Background actors will work in exterior college campus scenes and portray various types – College Students, College Alumni, College Admin Staff, and College Professors.
  • 22 total background actors will be working in these scenes

LAW FIRM OFFICE STAFF

  • Work Date: Monday, 9/28/26
  • Filming Location: Stone Mountain, GA
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Background actors will work in interior / exterior office building scenes and will portray Law Firm types and general Office Staff.
  • 20 total background actors will be working in these scenes

DINER PATRONS AND DINER STAFF

  • Work Date: Tuesday, 9/29/26
  • Filming Location: Marietta, GA
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Background actors will work in interior diner scenes and will portray Diner Patrons, Bartenders, Servers, Hostess, Cook, etc.
  • 22 total background actors will be working in these scenes

CAPITOL VISITOR TOURISTS, CAPITOL STAFF, AND SECURITY

  • Work Date: Tuesday, 9/29/26
  • Filming Location: Atlanta, GA
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Background actors will work in interior state capitol scenes and will depict various visitors to the capitol – Tourists, Capitol Staffers, and Capitol Security.
  • 28 total background actors will be working in these scenes

WORK DATES

  • Must be available for the date / dates listed above per role.
  • You must be prepared to work up to 12 hours (or longer)
  • Call times will typically be provided the evening before each workday.

HAIR, MAKEUP & PERIOD LOOK REQUIREMENTS

  • ALLIGATOR is set in the 1990s and early 2000s. All background actors must be able to achieve a period-appropriate look for their assigned scene.
    • WOMEN: Hair must be able to be styled in a period-appropriate 1990s–early 2000s look. Makeup should be natural and minimal. Nails must also be period appropriate — no modern nail art, extra-long nails or other contemporary styles. Appropriate nail colors include brown, mauve, maroon, mahogany, plum, nude, dark rose, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    • MEN: Hair and facial hair must be appropriate for the 1990s–early 2000s period. Men should be willing to arrive clean-shaven if requested. Beards and goatees must be neatly and tightly groomed and are subject to approval by the Makeup Department.
    • TATTOOS: All visible tattoos must be fully covered for filming. Please be prepared to cover tattoos with clothing or appropriate tattoo-covering makeup.
  • If selected, you will receive additional Hair & Makeup instructions with your booking details.
