  • Hylton Casting is now casting background actors with period-appropriate cars, trucks, motorcycles, and RVs for ALLIGATOR, a new scripted crime television series for a major streaming service.
  • Inspired by a true story and set across the 1990s and early 2000s, the series explores a gripping story of secrets, relationships, and crime.
  • We are seeking background actors, ages 18+, who own period-appropriate vehicles from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. Selected performers and their vehicles may be needed on multiple filming dates throughout the run of the series, so open and flexible availability is preferred.

BACKGROUND ACTORS WITH PERIOD CARS AND TRUCKS

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Seeking background actors who own period-appropriate cars, sedans, pickup trucks, and other vehicles from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s.
  • A variety of makes, models, colors, and vehicle styles will be considered.
  • Selected vehicle owners must also be available to work as background actors in the scenes.

BACKGROUND ACTORS WITH PERIOD MOTORCYCLES

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Seeking background actors who own period-appropriate motorcycles from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s.
  • We are particularly interested in Harley-Davidson and similar cruiser-style motorcycles appropriate to the time period.
  • Selected motorcycle owners must also be available to work as background actors in the scenes.

BACKGROUND ACTORS WITH PERIOD RVs

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 18+
  • Seeking background actors who own period-appropriate RVs, campers, and motorhomes from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s.
  • Selected RV owners must also be available to work as background actors in the scenes.

FILMING DATES

  • Production runs from September 2026 – February 2027.
  • After submitting, we will reach out to you to check your availability for specific filming dates during this time frame if your period vehicle is selected.
  • You must be prepared to work up to 12 hours (or longer) per shoot day.
  • Call times will typically be provided the evening before each workday.

FILMING LOCATION

  • Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $96/8 hrs (Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half.)
  • Period Car, Truck, Motorcycle Bump: $100 Period Vehicle Bump
  • Period RV Bump: TBA Period Vehicle Bump

Talent Photos Required:
  • Recent Headshot — color, clearly showing your face
  • Recent Full Body Photo — facing the camera, head-to-toe
  • Photos should be recent, clear, unedited, and accurately represent your current appearance. No filters, hats, sunglasses, or heavy makeup.
Vehicle Photos Required:
  • Submit clear, recent photos of the actual car, truck, motorcycle, or RV you are submitting.
  • Photos should be taken in natural daylight and clearly show the full exterior, including the vehicle’s make, model, color, and current condition.
  • Do not submit stock images, dealership photos, screenshots, or photos found online. The vehicle pictured must be the actual vehicle you will bring to set if selected.
