  • Hylton Casting is seeking a real, experienced Tae-Bo instructor for a featured, non-speaking specialty background role in ALLIGATOR, a new scripted crime series for a major streaming service.
  • Production will make final selections from submitted photos, slate, and Tae-Bo demonstration video.

SPECIALTY BACKGROUND ROLE

TAE-BO CLASS INSTRUCTOR
  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 20s – 40s
  • Must have real experience teaching Tae-Bo and leading fitness classes. You must be comfortable demonstrating Tae-Bo movements and leading a class on camera.
  • Featured, non-speaking background role.

TENTATIVE WORK DATE

  • This role will work 1 date during October 2026.
  • You must be prepared to work up to 12 hours (or longer)
  • Call times will typically be provided the evening before each workday.

FILMING LOCATION

Lithonia, GA

HAIR, MAKEUP & PERIOD LOOK REQUIREMENTS

  • ALLIGATOR is set in the 1990s and early 2000s. All background actors must be able to achieve a period-appropriate look for their assigned scene.
    • WOMEN: Hair must be able to be styled in a period-appropriate 1990s–early 2000s look. Makeup should be natural and minimal. Nails must also be period appropriate — no modern nail art, extra-long nails or other contemporary styles. Appropriate nail colors include brown, mauve, maroon, mahogany, plum, nude, dark rose, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    • MEN: Hair and facial hair must be appropriate for the 1990s–early 2000s period. Men should be willing to arrive clean-shaven if requested. Beards and goatees must be neatly and tightly groomed and are subject to approval by the Makeup Department.
    • TATTOOS: All visible tattoos must be fully covered for filming. Please be prepared to cover tattoos with clothing or appropriate tattoo-covering makeup.
  • If selected, you will receive additional Hair & Makeup instructions with your booking details.

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $226/10 hrs (Flat Rate)
    • $226 is guaranteed for up to 10 hours of work. Overtime is paid after 10 hours at time-and-a-half.

EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Submit recent, clear, unedited materials that accurately represent your current appearance.

Photos Required:
  • Headshot clearly showing your face
  • Full-body photo facing the camera and showing you from head to toe
  • Wear athletic clothing that allows production to clearly see your physique and movement. Photos should be taken with a camera phone in good natural lighting. Hair and makeup should be camera-ready. Do not use filters, hats, or sunglasses.
Video Slate Attachment Required:
  • Attach a 30–60 second slate video. Clearly state your first and last name, height, weight, city and state of residence, and how long you have been teaching Tae-Bo.

Tae-Bo Demonstration Video Required:

  • Attach a separate video, up to 60 seconds long, of you acting as if you are teaching a Tae-Bo class. Demonstrate Tae-Bo movements and your class-leading style.
  • Wear athletic clothing that allows production to see your physique and movements. Make sure your full body is visible during the demonstration.
