  • Hylton Casting is now casting 12 female background actors, all ethnicities, ages 20s–40s, to portray women attending a 1990s-style at-home cosmetics party in ALLIGATOR, a new scripted crime television series for a major streaming service.
  • This is a picture-pick role. Only 12 women will be selected, and submissions will be presented to Production for final selection.

  • Seeking women who can naturally portray the social, upbeat atmosphere of an at-home beauty and cosmetics gathering
  • Picture-pick role — only 12 women will be selected
  • Final selections will be made by Production

  • You must be prepared to work up to 12 hours (or longer)
  • Call times will typically be provided the evening before each workday.

FILMING LOCATION

Tucker, GA

HAIR, MAKEUP & PERIOD LOOK REQUIREMENTS

  • ALLIGATOR is set in the 1990s and early 2000s. All background actors must be able to achieve a period-appropriate look for their assigned scene.
    • WOMEN: Hair must be able to be styled in a period-appropriate 1990s–early 2000s look. Makeup should be natural and minimal. Nails must also be period appropriate — no modern nail art, extra-long nails or other contemporary styles. Appropriate nail colors include brown, mauve, maroon, mahogany, plum, nude, dark rose, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    • MEN: Hair and facial hair must be appropriate for the 1990s–early 2000s period. Men should be willing to arrive clean-shaven if requested. Beards and goatees must be neatly and tightly groomed and are subject to approval by the Makeup Department.
    • TATTOOS: All visible tattoos must be fully covered for filming. Please be prepared to cover tattoos with clothing or appropriate tattoo-covering makeup.
  • If selected, you will receive additional Hair & Makeup instructions with your booking details.

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $120/8 hrs (Flat Rate)
    • $120 is guaranteed for up to 8 hours of work. Overtime is paid after 8 hours at time-and-a-half.

Photos Required:
  • Please submit recent, clear, unedited photos taken with a camera phone in good natural lighting.
    • Headshot — clearly showing your face and current appearance
    • Full Body Photo — facing the camera, head-to-toe
    • Please dress in character for your photos. We are seeking a 1990s cosmetics sales party / at-home beauty consultant look. Think polished, feminine attire such as a dress, skirt and blouse, or coordinated suit.
    • Hair and makeup should be styled and camera-ready, as if you were attending or hosting a cosmetics sales event. Your photos should still accurately represent your current appearance.
    • No filters, hats, or sunglasses.
Video Slate Required:
    • Please submit a brief 30–60 second video slate. Look directly at the camera and clearly state your full name, height, weight, and city/state of residence.
    • After your introduction, position the camera to show your full body, head-to-toe, facing straight toward the camera. 
    • Please wear the same character-appropriate look, hair, and makeup used in your submission photos.
