Hylton Casting is currently casting a Female Braider Hand Double to work on the BET+ series Diarra From Detroit Season 2 for a variety of insert shots filming on Wednesday, 11/19/25 in Atlanta, GA.

  • Synopsis: A divorcing, overworked teacher finds herself drawn into a cold case after a dating app matches her with a man she suspects is the adult version of a boy abducted in the 90s.

HAND DOUBLE ROLE

FEMALE BRAIDER HAND DOUBLE

  • Black / African American Female, Ages 18+
  • Height: 5’1 – 5’6
  • Must have extensive experience with cornrow braiding. This hand double will be seen braiding cornrows on another actor.
  • Nails must be natural (no gel or other product)
  • Must be comfortable with press-ons or polish being applied by the make-up department.
  • This role will work as a Hand Double for one of the lead actors of the series.

FILMING DATE

Wednesday, 11/19/25

  • Must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set.
  • Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Please do not submit if you do not have open availability for the filming date listed above.

LOCATION

Atlanta, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Hand Double Rate: $175 for 12 hours guaranteed. Overtime paid after 12 hours at time and a half.
  • Specialty Skill Bump: $100 Skill Bump
