Hylton Casting is seeking background actors to work in bar scenes for the NBC pilot The Rockford Files. These scenes will depict a beachside bar in Malibu with an upscale beach casual atmosphere. The vibe is elevated coastal chic, relaxed luxury with oceanfront ambiance. Filming will take place in Hapeville, GA on Thursday, 3/12/26.

BAR PATRONS

  • These scenes will depict a beachside bar in Malibu with an upscale beach casual atmosphere. The vibe is elevated coastal chic, relaxed luxury with oceanfront ambiance.
FEATURED BARTENDER
  • Male, all ethnicities, ages 30s – 40s
  • This featured, non-speaking role will portray a bartender that the lead actor interacts with in the scene.
  • If you would like to be considered for this role, you must upload a video slate to be considered. Instructions listed below.
  • Portraying staff at the beachside bar.
  • Previous experience working as a bartender / mixologist preferred.

GENERAL BARTENDERS

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 30s – 40s
  • Portraying staff at the beachside bar.
  • Previous experience working as a bartender / mixologist preferred.

WAIT STAFF

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 20s – 30s
  • Portraying staff at the beachside bar.
  • Previous experience working as a waiter, server, hostess, etc. preferred.

PEDESTRIANS WITH CARS

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 20s – 50s
  • Must have a valid license and must be comfortable driving in the scene, taking direction from the Director and AD team.
  • Vehicles: Sedans, SUVs, or other “nice cars” (modern, well-maintained). Talent will be driving their own vehicle in these scenes. No white or red cars permitted.

FILMING DATE

Thursday, 3/12/26
  • Must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set.
  • Please be prepared to film into the night.
  • Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Please do not submit if you do not have open availability for the filming date listed above.

FILMING LOCATION

  • Hapeville, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $12.50/hour ($100 guaranteed for 8 hours. Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half.)
  • Car Bump: Additional $30 if booked with your vehicle (no white or red cars)

  • If you would like to be considered for the featured bartender background role, you must upload a video slate to be considered. 
  • In your slate, clearly state:
    • Your full name, height, and city/state of residence.
    • Show front, side, and ¾ turns on camera.
    • Please dress in character.
