- Set in Pittsburgh, AVERAGE JOE follows blue-collar plumber, Joseph Washington, who discovers his recently deceased father lived a secret, second life as a drug mule and before he died, stole millions of dollars from the Russian mob. Now the Russians would like their money back and they think Joe knows where it is. A bloody and violent confrontation triggers a chain of events that force Joe and his close-knit circle of family and friends out of their very average and mundane lives into a life or death race against time to find the truth and the millions – or die trying.
ROLES
YOUNG BOY
- Caucasian male, ages 8-12
- This role will portray a young boy at a birthday party.

YOUNG GIRL
- Caucasian female, ages 13-16
- This role will portray a young girl at a birthday party.
- This role will work 1 date within Tuesday, 1/17/23 – Thursday, 1/26/23. Please only submit if you have a flexible schedule. If selected, we will contact you with the confirmed work date.
3 RUSSIAN HENCHMEN FATHERS
- Caucasian Men, ages 30s-50s
- The 3 fathers should have the appearance of Russian Henchmen.
- This role will work 2 dates within Tuesday, 1/17/23 – Thursday, 1/26/23. Please only submit if you have a flexible schedule. If selected, we will contact you with the confirmed work dates.
MAN AT CABIN
- Black or Mixed Race Male, ages 50s-70s
- This role will portray an older man at a cabin in the woods.
- This role will work 1 date within Tuesday, 1/17/23 – Thursday, 1/26/23. Please only submit if you have a flexible schedule. If selected, we will contact you with the confirmed work date.
MAN ON HIGHWAY
- Male, any ethnicity, ages 20s-60s
- This role will portray a man on the highway having their car stolen by one of the principal actors of the series.
- This role will work 1 date within Tuesday, 1/17/23 – Thursday, 1/26/23. Please only submit if you have a flexible schedule. If selected, we will contact you with the confirmed work date.
Filming Location
Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas.
COVID-19 Testing
- COVID-19 testing will be required on the day prior to the work date.
- No outside tests are accepted.
- The test performed is a Covid-19 PCR Test.
- While at the test facility and on set, PPE must be worn.
- All possible work dates are contingent upon clearing these tests.
- You may not provide test results from another outside source. You MUST be tested by the production’s Health and Safety team.
- You must attend testing regardless of vaccination status.
Rate if Hired
YOUNG BOY, YOUNG GIRL and 3 RUSSIAN HENCHMEN FATHERS
- Background performer services: $200/10 hrs
- COVID-19 testing bumps: Quarter Check COVID-19 Testing Bump (for any testing outside of a work date)
MAN AT CABIN and MAN ON HIGHWAY
- Background performer services: $150/10 hrs
- COVID-19 testing bumps: Quarter Check COVID-19 Testing Bump (for any testing outside of a work date)
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- On the submission form below, please make sure to submit recent, clear, color photos.
- The photos that you submit should reflect your current look – hair color, cut, etc.
- Please take these photos standing against a solid wall with good lighting. You may use a camera phone.
- Please submit a head shot, full length body shot, and two side profile pictures from both the left and right side.
- Do not submit photos with snapchat filters, black and white photos, photos where you are wearing hats or sunglasses, and photos that do not reflect your current look, hair style, etc.
- Please also upload a video slate of yourself below to be considered for this role. In this video, you should say your first and last name, height and weight, and show your entire body head to toe.
