  • Hylton Casting is now casting the role of CHARLES to work on ALLIGATOR, a new scripted crime television series for a major streaming service.
  • This featured, non-speaking background role will portray the husband of one of the principal actors and will be featured in family scenes interacting with several principal cast members. This is a recurring role that will work multiple dates throughout the series.
  • Acting experience is required. An introductory audition video is required with your submission. Details are listed below.

  • Inspired by a true story and set across the 1990s and early 2000s, the series explores a gripping story of secrets, relationships, and crime.

ROLE

CHARLES
  • Caucasian male, approximately ages 25–40
  • Charles is the husband of one of the principal actors and part of a conservative, religious family. We are seeking a clean-cut, understated family-man appearance appropriate for the character and the 1990s–early 2000s period.
  • Talent must be willing to be clean-shaven or maintain neatly groomed, period-appropriate facial hair/sideburns. No full or large beards. Please do not submit if you are not comfortable adjusting your facial hair as required. Visible tattoos must be able to be fully covered for filming.
  • This is a featured, recurring, non-speaking background role. Acting experience is required. Final selection will be made by Production.

WARDROBE FITTING DATE

Monday, 10/5/26 – 6:30 PM – Stone Mountain, GA

  • You must be available for the mandatory wardrobe fitting. Please be prepared for approximately 1–2 hours.

TENTATIVE WORK DATES

Thursday, 10/22/26

  • You must be available for all listed dates. Dates are subject to change, and additional filming dates may be added throughout the series.
  • Please be prepared to work up to 12 hours or longer. Call times are typically provided the evening before filming.

FILMING LOCATION

Stone Mountain, GA and surrounding areas

HAIR, MAKEUP & PERIOD LOOK REQUIREMENTS

  • ALLIGATOR is set in the 1990s and early 2000s. All background actors must be able to achieve a period-appropriate look for their assigned scene.
    • MEN: Hair and facial hair must be appropriate for the 1990s–early 2000s period. Men should be willing to arrive clean-shaven if requested. Beards and goatees must be neatly and tightly groomed and are subject to approval by the Makeup Department.
    • TATTOOS: All visible tattoos must be fully covered for filming. Please be prepared to cover tattoos with clothing or appropriate tattoo-covering makeup.
  • If selected, you will receive additional Hair & Makeup instructions with your booking details.

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $200/8 hrs (Flat Rate)
    • $200 is guaranteed for up to 8 hours of work. Overtime is paid after 8 hours at time-and-a-half.
  • Wardrobe Fitting Rate: $25.00/hour — 2-hour minimum guarantee ($50.00 minimum)

    • Begin with your slate and clearly state your:
    • First and last name, height, weight, and current city/state of residence.
    • After your slate, briefly introduce yourself and tell us a little about who you are, where you’re from, your personality, and your acting experience.
    • Keep your introduction natural and conversational. Look directly at the camera and record your video with clear lighting and audio.
