Hylton Casting is seeking a core group of Campers for the upcoming Netflix series Talbot Pines, a new scripted series set in a vibrant and immersive summer camp environment.

We are casting Core Talbot Pines Camper Background Actors, including minors (ages 9–17) and adults (ages 18–29 who can portray younger), to help bring this active, high-energy world to life. Because the series is centered around a summer camp setting, all selected background actors must have a youthful appearance and a very specific, natural look that fits the tone of the show. Men must be clean shaven.

Previous summer camp experience or familiarity with activities such as archery, canoeing, volleyball, swimming, sports, or crafts is a plus, but not required. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable being active, engaging in group environments, and embodying the spirit of camp life on camera.

These Core Campers will work throughout the duration of the season, offering consistent, recurring opportunities for those selected. Please note that all Core Camper roles will be photo selected by the Director and Executive Producers, so it is essential that you take your time when submitting and provide accurate, current photos and a strong self-tape slate that follows all submission instructions.

CORE BACKGROUND ROLES

ADULT CORE TALBOT PINES CAMPERS – AGES 18-29

  • All genders, all ethnicities
  • Youthful appearance, as you’ll be portraying high school-aged campers. Men must be clean shaven.
  • Previous summer camp experience or familiarity with camp activities (archery, canoeing, sports, capture the flag, origami, etc.) is a plus.
  • Must be active and enjoy participating in physical activities. A fun, lively energy is essential to embody the summer camp atmosphere!
  • Some campers will be selected as bunkmates of the principal cast and their bunks will be designed to reflect their individual personalities. Set Decoration, Costumes, and Props will collaborate to personalize each camper’s bunk to match their look and vibe.

MINOR CORE TALBOT PINES CAMPERS – AGES 9-17

  • All genders, all ethnicities
  • Previous summer camp experience or familiarity with camp activities (archery, canoeing, sports, capture the flag, origami, etc.) is a plus.

FILMING DATES

  • Filming for the first 2 episodes of the series will take place from April 28, 2026 – May 22, 2026. If selected, you must have open availability during this period.
  • Additional episodes will be filming May – September 2026 and there will be additional dates that you will be needed to work.
  • Filming days will vary. While you may not be needed every day, open availability during this time frame is essential.
  • Call times will typically be provided the evening before each workday.
  • Adult Core Campers: You must be prepared to work up to 12 hours (or longer) per shoot day.
  • Minor Core Campers: You must be available for up to a 10 hour filming day on set.

FILMING LOCATION

  • Rutledge, GA, Conyers, GA and surrounding areas

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Adult Background Rate: $140/12 hrs (Overtime paid after 12 hours at time and a half.)
  • Minor Background Rate: $140/10 hrs

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

To be considered, please submit, unedited photos taken today and a short video slate recorded today. Please note that all roles will be photo selected by the Director and Executive Producers. Because of this, it is very important that you take your time with your submission and provide the proper photos and self-tape slate requested.

Photo Guidelines:
• All photos must be taken today (or at the time of submission).
• Use a camera phone in good natural lighting against a solid wall (white or neutral background preferred).
• Photos should look professional, clear, and well-framed.
• No filters, hats, sunglasses, or heavy makeup.

MINOR BACKGROUND ACTORS - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION​

  • Please complete the submission form below with your minor’s information. A separate submission form must be completed for each working minor.
  • All minors must be registered with the GA Dept. of Labor and have a valid Certification Certificate Number before submitting.

  • Registration may take several days. Minors without certification cannot be booked.
  • One parent/legal guardian must accompany the minor on set at all times (no switching during the day).
  • Guardians may not appear on camera and no additional guests are allowed on set.

SELECTION PROCESS

  • Once you submit your photos and video audition, they will be sent directly to the Director for final selections.
  • If chosen, Hylton Casting will contact you to confirm your availability.
