STUDIO AUDIENCE MEMBERS FOR DIVORCE COURT – SEASON 27

We are seeking 20 energetic and enthusiastic studio audience members for each taping date. If you are available for a taping, please read the information below and submit to participate. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • Divorce Court is the longest-running program in the legal courtroom genre, resolving disputes between couples at the end of their relationships in a nontraditional arbitration setting. It is currently presided over by Judge Star Jones.

    (Please note: You may only be booked for one date.)

CALL TIME

  • Anticipated Start Time: 8:00 AM
  • Please be prepared to stay for 11 hours, including approximately 8 show cases.
  • Refreshments: Bagels and coffee in the morning and a box lunch will be provided.

TAPING LOCATION

  • Location: Atlanta, GA (Midtown area)
  • This is a live, in-person taping, not via Zoom.

RATE IF HIRED

  • Tapings last approximately 11 hours, covering around 8 show cases.
  • Audience members will receive a flat rate of $100 for 11 hours of participation.
  • Any additional hour past 11 hours will be compensated at $10/hour.
  • Payment: You will complete a W-9 and audience release on set. Payment will be mailed to you via check 4-5 weeks after the taping.
  • Eligibility: You must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident aged 18 or older. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and your social security number.

OTHER NOTES

  • Dress Code: Please wear modern courtroom attire, ideally bright, jewel-toned colors. No black or dark topswhite clothing, or logos.
  • Prohibited Items: No large bags, valuables, or cell phones allowed in the studio (cell phones can be checked during lunch break).
  • Energy Level: We’re looking for a lively, energetic audience—if you fall asleep during taping, you may be asked to leave early!
  • Lunch Provided: A box lunch will be provided for the taping day. However, if you have any dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring your own lunch.
  • Exclusion: If you’ve previously been a litigant (speaking) on Divorce Court, you cannot participate as an audience member.

BOOKING POLICY

  • Overbooking: Due to unforeseen circumstances like weather or traffic, we may overbook to ensure adequate audience attendance. A confirmation email does not guarantee your booking. Once the production reaches full capacity, no additional audience members will be allowed in.
  • Cancellation: The production reserves the right to cancel any aspect of your booking at any time. If canceled, no compensation or reimbursement will be provided. Please check your email before arriving at the venue for any updates.
