Hylton Casting is currently casting experienced child actors to work in interior mall scenes in the upcoming feature film Scary Movie 6, filming on Friday, 11/14/25 in Atlanta, GA. We are looking for minors aged 9-15 yrs to work in a highly sensitive scene, that includes explicit elements of violence, blood and gore.

HOLIDAY CHILDREN

  • We are looking for minors aged 9-15 yrs to play background roles in a highly sensitive scene, that includes explicit elements of violence, blood and gore.
  • All genders, all ethnicities

SCENE & ENVIRONMENT DETAILS

  • This is a highly sensitive scene, that includes explicit elements of violence, blood and gore.
  • Minors respond as bystanders — portraying fear or shock as the situation unfolds.
  • This role will work in interior mall scenes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

  • We are seeking child actors with prior experience, including one or more of the following:
  • Film/TV acting or background experience
  • Theater performance requiring expressive or emotional reaction
  • Previous work in horror, thriller, emotionally intense scenes is preferred
  • This role is not intended for first-time performers or children who may be uncomfortable with frightening content.

FILMING DATE

Friday, 11/14/25

  • Must be available for a 10-hour filming day on set.
  • Call time will not be provided until the day before filming.
  • Please do not submit if your child does not have open availability for the date listed above.

FILMING LOCATION

  • Atlanta, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Minor Background Rate: $200/8 hours (time and a half after 8 hours)

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

Photos (required):
  • On the form below, please attach a clear selfie (taken today) and a full-body shot
  • Photos must be recent, in natural lighting, no filters/editing, showing your current look (hair color/length/style)

Slate Video:
  • Stand full body in frame.
  • State your name, height, city, state, and age.
  • Tips: Record horizontally, make sure we can see your whole body, use good lighting, and keep the background simple. 

SELECTION PROCESS

  • Once you submit your photos and video slate, they will be sent directly to the Director for final selections.
  • If selected, Hylton Casting will contact you with all additional filming details.
  • The parents of the children selected will be sent the scene pages to ensure they are comfortable.

MINOR BACKGROUND ACTORS - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION​

  • Please complete the submission form below with your minor’s information. A separate submission form must be completed for each working minor.
  • All minors must be registered with the GA Dept. of Labor and have a valid Certification Certificate Number before submitting.
  • If your minor is not already registered with the GA Dept. of Labor, please visit: https://www.dol.state.ga.us/public/es/mie/minor/login
  • Registration may take several days. Minors without certification cannot be booked.
  • One parent/legal guardian must accompany the minor on set at all times (no switching during the day).
  • Guardians may not appear on camera and no additional guests are allowed on set.

BOOKING POLICY

  • Hylton Casting, LLC and Hudson Avenue Productions, LLC. reserve the right to cancel any part of your booking at any time, including last-minute changes. If your booking is canceled, no compensation, reimbursement, or other consideration will be provided. Please check your email before arriving to set for updates. Hylton Casting may overbook background actors to ensure production needs are met in the event of last-minute cancellations. A confirmation does not guarantee placement; if production is at full count, you may not be signed in or compensated. Extras signed in on set are not employed by Hylton Casting and are paid directly by the production company.
