BACKGROUND ROLES

35 BAR PATRONS IN COUNTRY WESTERN ATTIRE

    • We are casting 35 African American Bar Patrons of all genders, ages 18+ that have country western attire for these scenes. Please DO NOT submit if you do not have the required wardrobe.
    • Wardrobe Required: All background actors will be required to come dressed in Western wear – i.e. cowboy boots, cowboy hats, any Western regalia. Please review the following wardrobe examples – MALE EXAMPLES, FEMALE EXAMPLES
    • This role will work in interior Country Western Bar scenes and exterior Rodeo scenes.
    • All background actors should be prepared to dance in the Western Bar scenes.
    • Work Dates: Tuesday, 10/1/24, Monday, 10/14/24, AND Tuesday, 10/15/24. You must be available to work ALL dates.

ELDERLY COUPLES DANCING AT COUNTRY WESTERN BAR

    • African American, all genders, ages 50s-70s
    • This role will work in interior Country Western Bar scenes.
    • All background actors should be prepared to dance in the Western Bar scenes.
    • Wardrobe Required: All background actors will be required to come dressed in Western wear – i.e. cowboy boots, cowboy hats, any Western regalia. Please review the following wardrobe examples – MALE EXAMPLES, FEMALE EXAMPLES
    • Wardrobe Fitting: A wardrobe fitting will be required for this role on Thursday, 9/26/24 in Atlanta, GA. You would receive a quarter check rate fitting bump for attending.
    • Work Date: Tuesday, 10/1/24

HART FAMILY MEMBERS

    • African American, all genders, ages 20s-70s
    • This role will portray the family of one of the lead actresses of the series.
    • This role will work in interior Country Western Bar scenes, interior Family Farmhouse scenes, and exterior Rodeo scenes.
    • All background actors should be prepared to dance in the Western Bar scenes.
    • Wardrobe Required: All background actors will be required to come dressed in Western wear – i.e. cowboy boots, cowboy hats, any Western regalia. Please review the following wardrobe examples – MALE EXAMPLES, FEMALE EXAMPLES
    • Wardrobe Fitting: A wardrobe fitting will be required for this role on Friday, 9/27/24 in Atlanta, GA. You would receive a quarter check rate fitting bump for attending.
    • Work Dates: Tuesday, 10/1/24, Friday, 10/11/24, Monday, 10/14/24, AND Tuesday, 10/15/24. You must be available to work ALL dates.

MALE STAFF AT COUNTRY WESTERN BAR (2 BARTENDERS AND 1 BOUNCER)

    • African American men, ages 18+
    • This role will work in interior Country Western Bar scenes
    • Work Date: Tuesday, 10/1/24

FEMALE SERVERS AT COUNTRY WESTERN BAR

    • African American women, ages 18+
    • This role will work in interior Country Western Bar scenes
    • Must be comfortable in Hooters-style attire.
    • Wardrobe Required: All background actors will be required to come dressed in Western wear – specifically cowboy boots and cowboy belts. Please review the following wardrobe examples – FEMALE EXAMPLES
    • Wardrobe Fitting: A wardrobe fitting will be required for this role on Thursday, 9/26/24 in Atlanta, GA. You would receive a quarter check rate fitting bump for attending.
    • Work Date: Tuesday, 10/1/24

DJ AT COUNTRY WESTERN BAR

    • African American, any gender, ages 18+
    • This role will work in interior Country Western Bar scenes
    • Must be an experienced DJ
    • Wardrobe Fitting: A wardrobe fitting will be required for this role on Thursday, 9/26/24 in Atlanta, GA. You would receive a quarter check rate fitting bump for attending.
    • Work Date: Tuesday, 10/1/24

CALL TIME NOTES

  • Must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set.
  • Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Please do not submit if you do not have open availability for the filming date listed above.

FILMING LOCATION

Atlanta, GA

RATE IF HIRED

Background Performer services: $92/8 hrs

  • Please note, this is a flat rate of $92 total for working up to 8 hours.  You will receive overtime (time and a half) after 8 hours.

PHOTO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • On the submission form below, please make sure to submit recent, clear, color photos.
    • Photo #1: A clear, recent headshot.
    • Photo #2: A clear, recent full body shot.
    • Photo #3: Please attach photos of yourself dressed in your Western clothing – i.e. cowboy boots, cowboy hats, any Western regalia that you own. Please review the following wardrobe examples – MALE EXAMPLES, FEMALE EXAMPLES
  • Please take these photos standing against a solid wall with good lighting. You may use a camera phone.
  • Please submit a head shot and full length body shot.
  • Do not submit photos with filters, black and white photos, photos where you are wearing hats or sunglasses, and photos that do not reflect your current look, hair style, etc.

BOOKING POLICY

  • Please note, Hylton Casting, LLC and the production Starz Valley Productions, LLC. reserves the right to cancel any aspect of your booking (in whole or in part) at any time for any reason (including, without limitation, in connection with last minute production changes), regardless of whether you or the production has confirmed the applicable booking. If your booking is cancelled (either in whole or in part), you understand and agree that you are not entitled to any consideration in connection with such cancellation (including, without limitation, compensation, fees, reimbursement, expenses and/or other consideration).  Please make sure to check your email prior to arrival to the production location for any updates.   • For all extras that are booked, we would like to inform you that it is our policy to overbook extras to compensate for last minute cancellations affected by weather, traffic, and other unforeseen circumstances. The formula we use to derive at our booking levels, is carefully applied and as conservative as possible while still fulfilling our responsibility of ensuring the required number of extras for the producers. Therefore, a confirmation email does NOT guarantee placement.  Once production is at full count, additional extras will not be signed in and therefore, will not be compensated. Extras that are signed in by production are not employed by Hylton Casting and will be compensated by the production company.
