Hylton Casting is currently casting the featured background role of Frat Guys to work on the NBC pilot The Rockford Files on Wednesday, 3/18/26. This role will be photo selected by the Director and Producers.

  • Logline: Based on the 1974–1980 series, The Rockford Files follows a wrongfully convicted, laid-back ex-con who works as a private investigator solving “cold” cases from his Malibu trailer while carefully avoiding violence and entanglements with the LAPD.

FEATURED BACKGROUND ROLE

FRAT GUYS

  • Caucasian men, ages 18-30
  • This featured, non-speaking role will portray fraternity members outside on the lawn of a fraternity house.
  • Should believably portray college fraternity members. Athletic or casual collegiate appearance preferred.
  • Clean-cut, sporty, or “campus social” looks encouraged.

FILMING DATE

Wednesday, 3/18/26

  • Must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set.
  • Please be prepared for filming through the night into early the next morning.
  • Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Please do not submit if you do not have open availability for the filming date listed above.

FILMING LOCATION

Atlanta, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $12.50/hour ($100 guaranteed for 8 hours. Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half.)

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

Photo Guidelines:

• Photos should look professional, clear, and well-framed.
• No filters, hats, sunglasses, or heavy makeup.

  • Recent Selfie Headshot (clearly showing your face)
  • Recent Full-Body Selfie (facing camera, head to toe)

Video Slate required:

  • In your slate, clearly state:
    • Your full name, height, and city/state of residence.
    • Show front, side, and ¾ turns on camera.
    • Please dress in character.

  • Once you submit your photos and video audition, they will be sent directly to the Director for final selections.
  • If chosen, Hylton Casting will contact you to confirm your availability.
