  • Hylton Casting is now casting kids ages 6-9 for the featured background role of KID IN COPY SHOP on ALLIGATOR, a new scripted crime television series for a major streaming service.
  • Filming will take place on Wednesday, 10/21/26 in Lithonia, GA.
  • Children with previous acting, theater, commercial, or on-set experience are encouraged to submit.
  • Submissions will be presented to the Director and Executive Producers for final selection.

FEATURED BACKGROUND ROLE

KID IN COPY SHOP

  • All genders, all ethnicities, ages 6-9
  • Will portray a mother and child visiting a neighborhood copy shop in the 1990s. The mother and child will be featured as customers using a copy machine and will be greeted by and interact directly with the shop owner, portrayed by one of the series’ principal cast members.
  • Featured, non-speaking background role. Acting experience preferred.

  • Minors ages 6-9: Must be available for up to an 8 hour day on set.

FILMING LOCATION

Lithonia, GA

RATE (IF HIRED)

 Background Rate: $120/8 hrs (Flat Rate)

  • $120 is guaranteed for up to 8 hours of work. Overtime is paid after 8 hours at time-and-a-half.

EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

HAIR, MAKEUP & PERIOD LOOK REQUIREMENTS

  • ALLIGATOR is set in the 1990s and early 2000s. All background actors must be able to achieve a period-appropriate look for their assigned scene.
    • GIRLS: Hair must be able to be styled in a period-appropriate 1990s–early 2000s look. Makeup should be natural and minimal. Nails must also be period appropriate — no modern nail art, extra-long nails or other contemporary styles. Appropriate nail colors include brown, mauve, maroon, mahogany, plum, nude, dark rose, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    • BOYS: Hair must be appropriate for the 1990s–early 2000s period. 
  • If selected, you will receive additional Hair & Makeup instructions with your booking details.

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

To be considered, please submit unedited photos and a short video slate. This role will be photo selected by the Director and Executive Producers. It is very important that parents and guardians take their time with submissions and provide the proper photos and self-tape slate requested below.

PHOTO GUIDELINES:
• All photos must be recent.
• Use a camera phone in good natural lighting against a solid wall (white or neutral background preferred).
• Photos should look professional, clear, and well-framed.
• No filters, hats, sunglasses, or heavy makeup.
• Child should be photographed alone in the images

PHOTOS REQUIRED:

  • Recent Selfie Headshot (clearly showing your face)
  • Recent Full-Body Selfie (facing camera, head to toe)

AUDITION VIDEO REQUIRED:

  • Please submit a brief introductory audition video.
  • Begin with your slate and clearly state your:
    • First and last name, age, height, and current city/state of residence.
  • After your slate, briefly introduce yourself and tell us a little about who you are, where you’re from, your personality, and your acting experience.
  • Keep your introduction natural and conversational. Look directly at the camera and record your video with clear lighting and audio.

MINOR BACKGROUND ACTORS - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION​

  • Please complete the submission form below with your minor’s information. A separate submission form must be completed for each working minor.
  • All minors must be registered with the GA Dept. of Labor and have a valid Certification Certificate Number before submitting.

  • Registration may take several days. Minors without certification cannot be booked.
  • One parent/legal guardian must accompany the minor on set at all times (no switching during the day).
