  • Hylton Casting is now casting the roles of ROBERT and TINA to work on ALLIGATOR, a new scripted crime television series for a major streaming service.
  • These featured, non-speaking background roles will portray the parents of one of the lead actresses of the series and will be featured in scenes interacting with several principal cast members. This is a recurring role that will work multiple dates throughout the series.
  • Acting experience is required. An introductory audition video is required with your submission. Details are listed below.
  • You cannot have previously worked already on Alligator – must be a new face to this production.

ROLES

ROBERT
  • Caucasian male, approximately ages late 40s – early 60s
  • ROBERT is the father of one of the principal actors and part of a conservative, religious family. We are seeking a clean-cut, understated family-man appearance appropriate for the character and the 1990s–early 2000s period.
  • This role will work in interior copy shop scenes, wedding scenes, and church scenes.
  • Talent must be willing to be clean-shaven or maintain neatly groomed, period-appropriate facial hair/sideburns. No full or large beards. Please do not submit if you are not comfortable adjusting your facial hair as required. Visible tattoos must be able to be fully covered for filming.
  • This is a featured, recurring, non-speaking background role. Acting experience is required. Final selection will be made by the production.
TINA
  • Caucasian female, approximately ages late 40s – early 60s
  • TINA is the mother of one of the principal actors and part of a conservative, religious family. We are seeking a clean-cut, understated family appearance appropriate for the character and the 1990s–early 2000s period.
  • This role will work in interior copy shop scenes, wedding scenes, and church scenes.
  • This is a featured, recurring, non-speaking background role. Acting experience is required. Final selection will be made by the production.

WARDROBE FITTING DATE

Monday, 10/19/26 – Stone Mountain, GA

  • You must be available for the mandatory wardrobe fitting. Please be prepared for approximately 1–2 hours.

WORK DATES

Wednesday, 10/21/26
Tuesday, 11/3/26

  • You must be available for all listed dates. Dates are subject to change, and additional filming dates may be added throughout the series.
  • Please be prepared to work up to 12 hours or longer. Call times are typically provided the evening before filming.

FILMING LOCATION

Stone Mountain, GA and Tucker, GA

HAIR, MAKEUP & PERIOD LOOK REQUIREMENTS

  • ALLIGATOR is set in the 1990s and early 2000s. All background actors must be able to achieve a period-appropriate look for their assigned scene.
    • MEN: Hair and facial hair must be appropriate for the 1990s–early 2000s period. Men should be willing to arrive clean-shaven if requested. Beards and goatees must be neatly and tightly groomed and are subject to approval by the Makeup Department.
    • TATTOOS: All visible tattoos must be fully covered for filming. Please be prepared to cover tattoos with clothing or appropriate tattoo-covering makeup.
  • If selected, you will receive additional Hair & Makeup instructions with your booking details.

RATE (IF HIRED)

  • Background Rate: $120/8 hrs (Flat Rate)
    • $120 is guaranteed for up to 8 hours of work. Overtime is paid after 8 hours at time-and-a-half.
  • Wardrobe Fitting Rate: $15.00/hour — 2-hour minimum guarantee ($30.00 minimum)

    • After your slate, briefly introduce yourself and tell us a little about who you are, where you’re from, your personality, and your acting experience.
    • Keep your introduction natural and conversational. Look directly at the camera and record your video with clear lighting and audio.
